Time to take it serious?

A few years ago when I first came to Croatia there were almost no gigs of well-known (West-European,UK and USA bands).

In the coming period the line ups for several venues are quite impressive. Last two days were Iggy and the Stooges, !!!, Asian Dub Foundation, Sonic Youth (presented on a two day festival hosted by VIP - Croatian Vodafone).

In a few weeks we'll see Tool and later on Muse.

The local band scene shows many good bands and even more shows in all kinds of venues. The level of their music exceeds one of many other countries. Soon I will start working on a plan togehter with several other companies here to crossover borders with this music. They have the potential. Time to take it serious. Not only because now the Croatian crowd can afford tickets to f.i. Pearl Jam (50 euros - no matter where you stand, welcome to Croatia!)
