EMI 'leaks' future plans
Obtained by Digital Music News, clickable right HERE
I got excited over this line: "A new global functional organization structure for the business as a whole will be in place by the end of June, 2008" (!)
Did I hear global and functional, business as a whole? Hate to say, but I was expecting something like this (see previous posts).

EMI = 'Vision' ? You tell me!
Click for an article about the 'sick' Majors of the music business
Credits to Boycott-riaa.com for publishing another great article.
Note from my side:
In the article the 'chiefs' of the Majors get severely criticized, only EMI stays in the clear because they have 'vision'. Told you before. They should move forward looking for a way to run their business in the 21st century.
Because I know a guy that worked for EMI and back then they were struggling over moving from tape to CDs. The guy (who taught me the world of blog, future of music, Gerd Leonhard & Seth Godin) is not active anymore within EMI - but still teaches kids like me about the industry.
There is a call for change. Somebody answer it. Let the messiah in.
