Radiohead will release (without any record company involved) their new album for ... yes, you decide. being it one cent up to 100 dollars, 200 dollars - whatever you feel like paying. Finally a 'big' band forcing a breakthrough.
it's not totally free, but I like the system VERY MUCH. However, for small bands this is not going to work - they don't have many TRUE lovers that will pay FULL PRICE meaning that the vast majority will obviously pay a VERY SMALL AMOUNT to get their hands on the piece of unkown music. calls for b2b involvment.
