variable pricing on amazon

not the news that they will launch a competitive download store to iTunes, but the variable pricing makes Amazon the news of the day

variable pricing principally means that you pay what the track is worth - so new hitsongs are supposed to be more expensive then old unkown tracks. that's the way the music business works folks - unkown artists will earn less from their download sales. if that's a problem - find a new business model that makes you rich...

-edit-: a small 5 minute research:
*variable pricing means either you pay 89 cents either 99 cents for the tracks
* album prices are however varying from around $8 dollars up to 14$
